Homework and Reporting

Key Points

  • A school review is being undertaken into approaches with homework across different year levels to develop a school strategy that provides greater support with student learning and achievement.
  • Parents are encouraged to contribute towards developing directions with homework and reporting through the completion of a short online questionnaire.

The experiences in communicating regularly with students and families during the COVID-19 remote learning has prompted a look into teaching and learning approaches supported through technologies to connect families closer to student learning. Our families were involved in their child’s learning in very different ways during the remote learning time and in many cases, provide families with a deeper insight into the learning and achievement of their child.

As we undertake this review, we would like to hear from families about homework and reporting. We have a short survey here that we hope parents will take a few minutes to complete. The survey is accessed at: Parent Questionnaire which will close on 2 July 2020.
