2022 Prefect Induction

Key Points

  • Our 2022 Prefect team were officially inducted to their role this morning as part of the Year 11 Formal Assembly.
  • Our new Captains lead the assembly beautifully, joined by their Vice Captains to deliver their acceptance speeches as well as the entire Prefect team who took their Prefect’s pledge to their school.
  • Congratulations to our 2022 Prefect Team!

The end of year presentation assemblies provided us with the appropriate moment to induct and recognise our senior student leaders for 2022 with a Prefect Induction held last week. Congratulations to all our nominees and the elected prefect group for their contribution throughout their years at Gymea that had earned them the recognition through the many students and staff who supported them in the process.

On Tuesday, our local state member, Eleni Petinos awarded the senior leadership badges to captains, vice captains and prefects as Mr Marsh led them through their Prefect Pledge. They have already begun planning and will prove to be a strong voice for the school and students in the group to further the supportive and respectful culture that connects everyone in the school.

Congratulations to the Captains, Vice captains and Prefects for 2022!
